HIV / AIDS PROGRAMME

HIV/AIDS is the major health problem allk over the world and Nepal is also being a victim of this fatal condition for some yaers. So keeping that in mind we have been launching the HIV/AIDS programme enthusiastically with the help of our valuable volunteers. HIV/AIDS project in Nepal aims to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS and to provide support to those affected by the disease. Therefore, volunteers in the HIV/AIDS programme mostly take care of HIV/AIDS infected kids, feamale and vunerable people,but they also engage in educational and training activities meant to increase awareness and stop the epidemic of HIV/AIDS. The situation seems as a challenging to the volunteers.The volunteers has an essential role in caring, counselling and motivating, educating and supporting the victims. The volunters who have appropriate knowledge and are prepared to meet this challenge can significantly affect quality life in victims.

The programme includes research and prevention of disease in the community level. Volunteers will be involving in the HIV/AIDS research and try to prevent the people from AIDS by discussing about preacution and prevention of transmission HIV with victims, family and community and also advice to avoid fear and misconception. Our organization has established different community outreach programme such as hospice care, recreation and educational programs, voluntary HIV counselling and testing, and educational seminars and conferences on the virus within local community. Volunteer help could be used in all of these activities.

Health Post and Hospital:

Service in hospitals and health posts to sick people and running health awareness program are very effective projects from our organization. Share your knowledge and skill to really needy and poor people and you will definitely feel satisfaction and proud of yourself.
