We welcome the interests and commitments of those aspiring individuals
with great enthusiasm to contribute to the Long-term volunteer program
towards helping the communities and people of Nepal. Being, Long-Term
Volunteer is a better way to experience other cultures, meet people from
other countries, learn new skills, take part in peacemaking and help in
environmental, and social service initiatives.
A long-term volunteer is in important functional areas such as MANAGEMENT,
AWARENESS, EDUCATION, CONSTRUCTION, SPORTS, RELIGIOUS, COMMUNITY,
TEACHING, and TRAINING. Such functions are usually assigned to volunteers
who come for extended periods (2 months or more). If you are interested in
a long-term experience, you can join our organization from 2 month to 5
Months depending on your interests.
All of our Long-term programs
start by a weeklong language and cultural orientation, because we know
that the Nepali culture can seem very different and complicated. In this
orientation program you will learn the basic of the Nepali language and
culture, you will get an opportunity to visit most of the historical
places and tourism points (sight seeing) located surrounding Kathmandu
valley as well as you also have a chance to participate some interesting
cultural programs like cultural dance and music. During the orientation,
we will provide you Guide and transportation to help you to get the
maximum of your visit.
