Minimum requirements and qualifications

Mature, committed individuals who are at least 18 years old, without accompanying minor dependents, and in good health are encouraged to apply for program as volunteers. Applicants are expected to have personal goals and values consistent with Global Partnership’s vision and goals. The applicant should be of high moral and spiritual character, reliable, self-directed, and properly equipped emotionally and physically for volunteering in a somewhat primitive and austere environment. There is no language requirement, some placement such as teaching in the schools, non-for education require basic level of Nepali language therefore we will provide general Nepali language classes during the orientation period.

	Able to commit from two to five months voluntary work
	Age must be 18 or older
	Basic skills and knowledge about the chosen program
	Knowledge of or willingness to learn about global t social issues
	Conversational English
	Experience and/or interest in planning participatory educational programs for groups
	Experience working with groups and communication and interpersonal skills
	Experience in living and traveling abroad, especially in developing countries
	Demonstrated personal initiative
	To obey the program and social rules
	Physical endurance and good health
	Prepared to pay own expenses traveling expenses from origin to Nepal and back to origin
	To join the program with a big smile and enthusiasm
