Short term Volunteer Programs are organizing in a special way in different
parts of Nepal. We organize these Programs with collaboration of local
organizations and communities as well as demand and interest of community
people. These short-term programs allow you to immerse yourself in a new
community and culture.
Short-Term programs are unique and flexible that you can immerse yourself
into the culture of Nepal. Our Programs are locally designed and driven
initiatives, with which our staffs form a partnership to allow you to work
on sustainable. Your Volunteer Placement is the composition of the
experience and interest, allowing you the access to a new culture
attainable only by working side-by-side with local people.
Free
time is available some afternoons, most evenings, and every weekend. Our
officials can give you suggestions for places to visit, or you can create
your own schedule. During your weekend you can take excursions to other
parts of the placement, or you may choose not to travel, and stay in
community to get to know the community and people more intimately.
All of our short- term programs start by a weeklong language and cultural
orientation, because we that the Nepali culture can seem very different
and complicated. In this orientation program you will learn the basic of
the Nepali language and culture, you will get an opportunity to visit most
of the historical places and tourism points (sight seeing) located
surrounding Kathmandu valley as well as you also have a chance to
participant some interesting cultural programs like cultural dance and
music. During the orientation, we will provide you Guide and
transportation to help you to get the maximum of your visit.
