| Applicants of Group
Placements: |

Group placements
applicants to the program will be notified via email or air mail of
program/placement details as soon as possible. |

| All Other Applicants: |
|
All individuals submitting an
application throughout the year will receive a confirmation of
placement as soon as a reply is received from your organization or
you. |
|
|
| Placement conformation and fee payments: |
| |
In order to
conform placement, all applicants must inform Global Partnership of
their acceptance of the placements offer and pay appropriate program
fee before 30 days of prefered program begin by cheque payable to
Global Partnership pr bank transfer. |
|
|
| Accomodation: |
|
Room and board are provided free of
charge for the duration of the project by the host community.
Depending on the location and the resources of the Community, you
will live with your group in a “camp” in a place such as a
school, Community center, community house, hostel, or tent. The
group usually self-caters every meal. You will be expected to help
an menus with a limited budget, shop for ingredients, prepare meals
and clean up. You will certainly get a chance to sample some new
dishes in return for scrubbing a few pots. |

| Qualification: |
|
No previous experience is necessary for
any project. The only qualifications you need are the willingness to
try new things and be part of a group. |
|
|
|
No language skills are required. English is the common
language on most projects, though a little knowledge of the local
language always goes a long way.
Certain projects — like those working with children, the disabled
or the elderly may require conversational ability in the local
language. |
|
|
| Age: |
|
You must be at least 18 years of age to
volunteer, and the average age of participants is between 18 and 60.
Some projects have upper age limits. |
|
|
| Be a group Coordinator: |
|
If you have some international
or leadership experience, you could be a group coordinator on a
project as per interest, a local coordinator will be provided. |
|
|
| The Program fee includes: |
|
The program fee includes
project placement, accommodation, food and transportation inside
country, emergency contact, communication and medical support for the dates of the
program. |
